This paper begins with an overview of the theorization diasporic media by various scholars from Canada and UK, gestures to how typology charted Eugenia Siapera in her chapter ‘Minority Diasporic Media’ elides account alternative arts (independent film video) produced intersectional plural identities subjects/artists whose work unsettle relations heteronormative, raced gendered constructions nation, nationality, migration.
